What happens between the Pickaxe you already made and the ZIP with your name on it: the steps, the box, and the papers that travel with every build. Back to Smelter.
Answer a few plain questions, or drop in a PDF of your Pickaxe and we read what we can: the name, the prompt, the fields it asks a user for, any knowledge it leans on. A couple of minutes, start to finish.
Say what it should ship as and start the firing. The forge burns its own hosted key, not yours. The build runs in front of you, step by step, on the screen.
When the firing lands you have three honest moves. Take the ZIP in the first hour for a flat $20, sight unseen. Or let us push it live, use it for 24 hours, and buy it for $100 any time in the first week. Or just leave it in the fire: the Smelter SaaS runs it for $10 a month plus 15 percent of its revenue, net of the API costs we carry.
A Crucible build is not an embed or a share link. It is the tool rebuilt to stand on its own, with nothing between you and the code.
The real product, not a screenshot of one. Change a line, add a feature, or hand it to someone who will.
What got built and why, plus a DEPLOY file a person can actually follow. Give it to a developer, or run it tonight.
Your laptop, a rented server, the cloud account with your name on the invoice. Once it's yours, it answers to you, not to us.
The full Crucible starts by interrogating an idea: five plain checks, then a plan you sign, then a build measured against that plan. A Smelter firing starts from a different place: a Pickaxe that is already live and working. What never changes is the paper trail. Whatever road your firing takes, the ZIP tells you exactly what happened on the way.
The same forge, the same gates on the way out: the build proves it compiles, passes its checks, and runs for real before it reaches you. Starting from a working Pickaxe loosens nothing at the exit, and a red gate is a conversation with you, never a wall.
A firing that goes straight from your Pickaxe to the fire carries no signed plan, and the build says so itself, in a file that ships inside the ZIP. If you want the interrogation and the signed plan, the full Crucible is the front door. Same fire, longer road, more paper.
Firings run in small batches. Leave your email and the Smelter invitation lands there when your place opens. Joining here also adds you to the Crucible waitlist; a place in Smelter is its own, separate from a place in the Crucible.
